is this retaining wall or normal rcc wall?this can happen due to various reasons. poor quality of cement , or not proper cover for concrete and the steel got corroded , also not proper structural design etc. should conduct core test and other test to determine the strength of concrete and recheck the design whether it can be repaired or not.

അടുത്ത കാലത്ത് കണ്ട FB Postകളിൽ വീടുകളുടെ floor SIab , Roof SIab ഉം വാർത്തു കഴിയുമ്പോൾ ഉപരിതലത്തിൽ Cracks(വിള്ളലുകൾ) ഉണ്ടാകുന്നതിനെ കുറിച്ചുള്ള ആശങ്കകളും പരിഹാരങ്ങളെയും കുറിച്ചായിരുന്നു.
ഒരു Slab ൻ്റെ ടurface layer ൽ കോൺക്രീറ്റ് കഴിഞ്ഞ് ആദ്യത്തെ മണിക്കൂറുകളിൽ രൂപപ്പെടുന്ന Shrinkage crack കൾ അത്രമേൽ സീരിയസ് അല്ല എങ്കിലും ഉണ്ടാകാനുള്ള കാരണവും ഈ defect ഉണ്ടാകാതിരിക്കാനുള്ള മുൻകരുതലിനെ കുറിച്ചും ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചാൽ ഇതിനെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള ആശങ്കകൾ ഒഴിവാകാം. ആദ്യം ഇതെന്തുകൊണ്ടുണ്ടാകുന്നു എന്നതിനെ കുറിച്ചാകാം.
Cement വെള്ളവുമായി ചേരുമ്പോൾ മുതൽ അതിൻ്റെ Setting process നെ സഹായിക്കുന്ന Chemical hydration മൂലമുണ്ടാക്കുന്ന അമിത ചൂട് നിയന്ത്രിക്കാൻ കോൺക്രീറ്റ് മിക്സു ചെയ്യാൻ കൃത്യമായ അളവിൽ ചേർത്ത വെള്ളം മതിയാകുമെങ്കിലും Concrete Slab finish ചെയ്ത ഉപരിതല layer ലെ ജലാംശം പ്രസ്തുത ചൂടിനെ നിയന്ത്രിക്കാത്ത സാഹചര്യത്തിൽ അന്തരീക്ഷത്തിലേക്ക് ബാഷ്പീകരിച്ചു നഷ്ടപ്പെടുമ്പോൾ ഫിനിഷ് ചെയ്തുറപ്പിച്ച കോൺക്രീറ്റിൽ താഴത്തെ layer ലും മുകൾ layer ലും വ്യത്യസ്തമായ സമ്മർദ്ദത്തിനു വിധേയയമായുണ്ടാകുന്ന Thermal/plastic shrinkage അന്തരീക്ഷത്തിലേക്ക് തുറന്നു കിടക്കുന്ന മുകൾ layer ൽ വിള്ളലിനു കാരണമാകുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു. ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്ന cement ൻ്റെ grade ,കോൺക്രീറ്റു ചെയ്യുമ്പോഴത്തെ കാലാവസ്ഥയിലുള്ള വ്യത്യാസം എന്നിവ വിള്ളലിൽ ഏറ്റക്കുറച്ചിൽ ഉണ്ടാകാം .തണുപ്പുള്ള കാലാവസ്തയാണ് കോൺക്രീറ്റിന് ഏറ്റവും അനുയോജ്യം. ആശങ്ക ഉണ്ടാക്കുന്ന ഈ defect തടയാൻ കോൺക്രീറ്റ് മിക്സിന് ആനുപാതികമായി ചേർത്ത ജലം final setting period ആയ ആദ്യത്തെ 10 മണിക്കൂറിൽ തന്നെ ബാഷ്പീകരിച്ചു നഷ്ടപ്പെടാതെ സംരക്ഷിക്കാൻ വേനൽകാലത്തും മഴയിൽ നിന്നു സംരക്ഷിക്കാൻ മഴക്കാലത്തും plastic sheet ഉപയോഗിച്ചു മൂടിയിടുക എന്നുള്ളതാണ്‌. ഏതു കാലാവസ്ഥയിലും ഉപരിതലം curing തുടങ്ങുന്നതു വരെ മൂടിയിടുക തന്നെ വേണം. അമിതമായ ചൂടുള്ള കാലാവസ്ഥ എങ്കിൽ ചൂടു നിയന്ത്രിക്കാൻ Sheet നു മുകളിലും വെള്ളം spray ചെയ്യാവുന്നതാണ്.Cement നിർമ്മാതാക്കൾ വിവിധ ഗ്രേഡിൽ( OPC/PPC/ PSC) മാർക്കറ്റിൽ ലഭ്യമാക്കുന്ന cement ലെ chemical combination ലുള്ള വ്യത്യാസവും ,ക്വാളിറ്റി കൺട്രോളിലെ പോരായ്മയും ഒക്കെ വിള്ളലുകൾ ഉണ്ടാകുന്നതിൽ ഏറ്റക്കുറച്ചിലിനുള്ള കാരണമാകാം. ( Well graded aggregates ഉപയോഗിച്ചു കൊണ്ട് Code കളിൽ പറയുന്ന രീതിയിൽ ഗുണനിലവാരം ഉറപ്പാക്കി വാർക്കുന്ന കോൺക്രീറ്റ് ,Final setting ആകുന്നതിനു മുമ്പേ തന്നെ ആവശ്യത്തിൽ കൂടുതൽ ജലം മഴയയുടെ രൂപത്തിലായാലും ഒരു പക്ഷേ വിള്ളൽ ഒഴിവായേക്കാമെങ്കിലും RCC Slab ൻ്റെ മൊത്തത്തിൽ ഉള്ള Strength നെ ബാധിച്ചേക്കാം ).

രണ്ട് നില വീട് പണിത് കൊണ്ട് ഇരിക്കുന്നു. അതിൽ ഒരു നില വാർപ്പ് കഴിഞ്ഞു. curing നടന്നുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു മഴ ആയും അല്ലാതെയും ആയി... ഇന്ന് നനക്കാൻ പോയപ്പോൾ ഇത് പോലെ കുഞ്ഞിയ വിള്ളൽ പോലെ കണ്ടൂ. അവരെ വിളിച്ച് ചൊതിച്ചപ്പോൾ വെയിൽ കൊണ്ട് വരുന്നത് ആണ് താഴ്തേക്ക് ഇഫക്ട് ചെയ്യില്ല എന്നാണ് പറഞ്ഞത്.
