More affordable but requires curing (7+ days) and putty for a smooth finish. Heavier than gypsum but better suited for long-term durability. For interiors, gypsum plaster is the best choice for a smooth and quick finish. For exteriors & wet areas, cement plaster is recommended for strength and moisture resistance. For balanced cost and efficiency, use gypsum for interiors and cement for exteriors & wet areas.
