What you are curing? It is the cement-not brick, not stone, not sand, not steel. To gain max. strength of either concrete mix or mortar mix cure it for 28 days. Only because after 7 days we get more than 60 % strength and brick wall is subjected to nothing except vertical loading, masons say - 7 days is enough, some says 10 days or 15 days. Today we are not serious about the strength of masonry-it is used for filling purposes inside a frame. Masons also fails to maintain perfect alignment between succeeding layers. In a brick masonry, frequent watering is necessary during brick laying otherwise on drying, bricks absorb water from mortar joints. Before plastering also sufficiently wet the masonry to avoid water sucking by bricks. So if you want a full strength masonry, cure it perfectly for 28 days - both during laying and after plastering
