IS 4326 അനുസരിച്ച് Belt with DPC 3" ( 7.5 cm) to 6 " (15 cm)depth ൽ Load bearing wall ൻ്റെ( ഭിത്തിക്കനം എത്രയോ അത്രയും എന്നാൽ മിനിമം 20Cm) കനത്തിൽ ചെയ്താൽ മതിയാകും. ഓരോ കാറ്റഗറിയിലുമുള്ള കെട്ടിടങ്ങൾക്കു് Span (Room size) അനുസരിച്ചുള്ള Rebar detailing ഉം Code ൽ വ്യക്തമാക്കിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.
