it depends on span support condition simply supported continuous framed beam ( part of frame ) span of adjacent beams and it's support column size and orientation if it is a framed beam . load from slab beam weight wall above live load category ie residential , commercial. et. then it also depends on the grade of steel mix of concrete and width of beam again it will depend on the direction in which the slab rft is provided making it T beam or rect beam . so better do not leave this to workers

Span അനുസരിച്ചാണ് അത് തീരുമാനിയ്ക്കുക . Beam എന്ന് മാത്രം പറഞ്ഞാൽ പോരാ Simply Supported beam ഉണ്ട് , Cantilever beam ഉണ്ട് , Continuous beam ഉണ്ട് .. അതും അല്ല , ഈ beam ന് മുകളിൽ വരുന്ന SIab.. അത് എടുക്കുന്ന load അങ്ങനെ പല consideration ഉണ്ട് . Better to Consult a structural engineer.
