Need a plan and estimate for a home renovation my home has , rooms with wooden roof in the middle and concrete rooms surrounding it. I am looking forward to buy a flat which is 8 yrs old. I approached a bank for home loan and the same has been approved. The bank loan is 80% of the purchase value. I am being told by the bank that I need to mention 90% of the property value since it is a flat in the sale deed to get it registered in my name. I feel that I am being misguided. Can any one clarify?

We had made wooden inbuilt cupboards in our house 20 years ago but now they have been damaged completely by termite. Though we have got stone shelves installed now and need to put on a cover only . Can you please suggest which would be the best option for this to remain safe from termite and also has a long life.

My house is more than 65 year old before 6 months I renovated my only upper floor room -325 sq ft bed room .I change its floor base - wooden panel and installed 18 inch cement board .under it there is vertical wooden beams and one horizontal wooden beam.it is a rectangle shape room.for the cement board installation we added steel pipe also.. now above all we leveled with msand and installed tile . My concern is about my newly made heavy weighted cot which is kept at the center of the room .it has double weight of normal king size cot.it's head and foot board is with 3 mdf board .should I replace the cot or room will with stand the weight..it is 325 sq feet bed room and it is above living room In ground floor..

Greetings, have a query regarding the payment to building contractor. I would like to know while we are making payment of instalments to the builder how can we have a proof of copy regarding the installments paid to him. When I suggested for bank transfer he says he have tax problem and when I asked for money receipt then he says he has gst issue. Some of my friends suggested to get signature in the back of agreement with the amount beside. Is their any other solution for this issue. Funding source is bank loan and rest by cash.
