"Prevention is better than cure" These cracks are mainly due to the expansion of concrete due to rusting of reinforcement inside this can be reduced by proper supervision and by taking prevention measures. It should be repaired in the beginning stage itself if it is showing hair line cracks of thickness more than 5mm in size. Repair procedure 1. Remove existing plastering and check the reinforcement. 2. Remove the rust with a wire brush. 3. Apply a protection coat. 4. Replaster using pins and fibre mesh. 5. Give a waterproofing protection above it. This will give a long life to structure. Build better. Protect your dream.
