Disadvantages The gap between the bricks, since it is not plastered, is prone to insect attack. skilled labour is required to reduce wastage. At corners, there is a chance of sliding of interlock bricks so measures should be taken to cater to this. Better to provide a concrete frame around the window. Without column, suitable for G+1 buildings. Interlock bricks at the exterior walls are prone to weathering, so there are changes of colour fading. Exterior walls need to be plastered.
