I want 2D plan for duplex home with inner staircase. Plot size - 42 length and 30 width - east facing plot. 1 bhk in ground floor, 2 bedrooms in first floor, All bedrooms must have attached bathroom and one outer bathroom outside in ground floor. Utility area and separate door for kitchen. Car parking for 2 cars. Total built-up area 1500 sq.ft.

Hi designer/engineers Planning for 2 house in 5centsX2 of land, in ernakulam. Want to explore current construction trends and experts. so following are my priorities for the designing. Must have proper natural light and fresh air circulation. 2. Must have some space around and infront of the house 3. Expecting overall rate in the range 2000-2200/sqft 4. new and improved budget construction methods can be suggested 5. Elevation should not be a conventional kerala style house. Modern/classy/simple are preferred. 6. least wood works. 7. planning for a smart home by incorporating IOT devices so suitable suggestions are welcome. 8. Greenery is a must. 9. Lot of storage space, well arranged interior, open kitchen, spacious master bedroom, total 3/4 rooms, good terrace with provisions for a rooftop garden in future. 10. decent parking Thanks.

is anyone tested compression strength of laterite stone and concrete blocks using for walls?? i know the values will vary as per quality. can anyone give me an average values.. Confusion on selecting these, im planning for a budget home, ground floor with 8inch thick concrete blocks and first floor with 6inch blocks.. is this will be structurally stable??.. can anyone give a detailed feedback on vettukal and concrete block..

sir, my plot of 13.5 cents is Gradually leaning downwards towards east from 0 at the West to 150 cm at the extreme end, it is proposed to construct an rcc framed residential bldg with the east side setback as 300cm and to fill with soil upto the same level of the West side. then can I do the ground floor flooring over 7.5 cm pcc after tamping the filled soil top? my fear is whether there is any chance of settling the soil and cracking the floor or may I do rcc slab same as roof?
