Hi all, njaan oru property buying help chothichaanu ee post idunne. North Paravur, Karumalloor - EKM enikku 5 cent plot oru interest indu. But when I reviewed the place. It was one of the flood heavily affected place in EKM. Have anyone had experience building home or facing any trouble building home in these outskirts. Is it still a viable and good and safe land to build a house. I been told to rubble masonry due to the type of soil(red Earth soil) but i am planning for a column footing. Is it a better option ? what is the normal cost of land per cent in the area? what and all thing i need to keep in mind if i am going to purchase the land? You help on this will be greatly appreciated, thank you.

sir, my plot of 13.5 cents is Gradually leaning downwards towards east from 0 at the West to 150 cm at the extreme end, it is proposed to construct an rcc framed residential bldg with the east side setback as 300cm and to fill with soil upto the same level of the West side. then can I do the ground floor flooring over 7.5 cm pcc after tamping the filled soil top? my fear is whether there is any chance of settling the soil and cracking the floor or may I do rcc slab same as roof?

A patio of [ shape as a continuation from Dining area, so on either side walls will be there, but need an enclosed one with an opening towards outside. planning to give glass doors where the dining area ends. How rest of the patio should be designed is the question half wall and grill,teracotta jali, or full grill. is it OK to give same floor level. cats/rats shouldn't enter also. I am looking forward to buy a flat which is 8 yrs old. I approached a bank for home loan and the same has been approved. The bank loan is 80% of the purchase value. I am being told by the bank that I need to mention 90% of the property value since it is a flat in the sale deed to get it registered in my name. I feel that I am being misguided.
