we are planning to use aac block for our house, i have 2 questions; for inner wall direct putty or pop will be good or we have to plaster and then apply pop? 2nd question is; for outer walls can we do the same or if not what type of plastering would be best, (it will be a frame structure)

As part of renovation of our 40 year old tiled house, we are planning to construct additional rooms with new foundation by joining the old house. What is the possibility of having cracks at the joints. Any alternative or suggestions are welcome. We will be replacing whole tile with full concrete roof.

1) for inner walls- direct putty without plastering can be done, depend on the surface finish of the AAC blocks. 2) for exterior walls- it's better to apply exterior putty above plastering. ( normal plastering is enough)
