Ayushmann Khurrana turned 38 years old today. Team Kolo wishes him a very happy birthday!!
Ayushmann Khurrana, who celebrated a decade in the industry earlier this year, turns 38 on Wednesday. Despite making his film debut with Vicky Donor in 2012, he moved to Mumbai from his hometown of Chandigarh in 2004. After beginning his career as a radio jockey, the actor worked as a video jockey, in reality, television shows, and as an anchor for several years before signing his first film contract.
Ayushmann Khurrana is not your typical Bollywood star. He’s a man who takes pride in his work. A craft that has allowed him to play everyone from the boy next door to a cunning musician, from a hardworking cop to a mediocre man working odd jobs to make ends meet.
He began his on-screen career with Roadies and quickly moved on to become a radio jockey before making his film debut in 2012 with Shoojit Sircar’s Vicky Donor. He’s become a household name eight years later, with blockbuster films like Badhaai Ho (2018), Andhadhun (2018), Dream Girl (2019), and the recently released Gulabo Sitabo (2020) to his name.
Ayushmann’s wife Tahira Kashyap shared a picture of them and wished him a sweet message on his day. She captioned her post, “Soulmate. Always by your side ♾❤️ Happy birthday to the best human being I know. My personal sunshine! You inspire me in so many ways. Kamaal insaan ho💫”
Khurrana was born and raised in Chandigarh, and despite the fact that he now lives in Mumbai with his wife Tahira Kashyap Khurrana and children Virajveer and Varushka Khurrana, he returns to his hometown on a regular basis. Recently, the Bollywood star and his brother Aparshakti Khurrana purchased a bungalow in Chandigarh’s Panchkula district for the family. “The Khurranas got a family home,” he revealed in a statement. We decided to purchase this new home so that the entire Khurrana family could now live together. We are excited to make new and beautiful memories in our new home.” Today, we take you on a virtual tour of the star’s childhood home.
A black metal gate with mahogany panels opens up to Ayushmann Khurrana’s childhood home in Chandigarh, flanked by rows and rows of plants and trees. More greenery greets visitors to the property, and the bungalow’s driveway is lined with steel grey tiling.
You’ll find a private garden full of leafy shrubs, succulents, trees, and tropical plants behind the Khurranas’ cosy home. This location frequently serves as an outdoor play area for Ayushmann and Tahira’s children, as well as a badminton court for the adults, who have been taking time out during the lockdown to stay fit.
A picture-perfect sitting area in the Khurranas’ backyard includes patio furniture with green and white upholstery, pebbled flooring, and red brick detailing. The backyard is ideal for relaxing with a cup of tea and a book, and it also comes in handy when the family wants to take photos on special occasions such as Raksha Bandhan.
Ayushmann Khurrana’s childhood home, like his home in Mumbai, features soothing neutral hues and warm accents. The living room is brought together by ivory colonial-style sofas with carved wooden legs surrounding a low, glossy finish coffee table. An abstract painting adds a modern touch to the room, which also has taupe marble floors, creamy walls, and tall windows with chocolate-coloured blinds. Other decor elements, such as lamps and figurines, are displayed on dark side tables.
