Famous actress Katie Cassidy, known for her role in ‘Arrow’ and the horror film ‘When a Stranger Calls’ turned 36 years old today!
Katie Cassidy, daughter of ‘Partridge Family’ star David Cassidy, recently listed a $2.099 million investment home in Los Angeles.
Katie Cassidy paid $1.56 million for the heavily renovated 2,951-square-foot mid-century earlier this year, so she could make a good profit on the flip. The house is in the Encino foothills and has been renovated to have an urbane, rustic-luxe feel.
The remodel makes extensive use of natural-toned wood, including wide-plank wood floors, custom kitchen cabinets, and a tongue-and-groove wall in the family room. The property boasts a contemporary home automation system and huge glass sliders for interior/exterior flow.
The open-concept floor plan in a wing design is used in the shared living spaces, with a prominent set of double glass doors opening onto the pool area. The four bedrooms and four baths culminate in a master suite with a raised niche sleeping area; the room also features a fireplace and plenty of tongue-and-groove.
Outside, there are several huge terraces, a strip of fake grass, mature trees, and a swimming pool. The property is enhanced with views of the hills and a quiet rear yard.
Katie Cassidy starred in this year’s feature “Grace,” which did well at the Boston Film Festival in September.
Cassidy, 32, rose to prominence as a scream queen in films such as “When a Stranger Calls,” “Black Christmas,” and the 2010 adaptation of “A Nightmare on Elm Street.”
She has reprised her role as Laurel Lance/Black Canary on the spinoff shows “The Flash” and “Legends of Tomorrow” in addition to “Arrow.” “Supernatural,” “Gossip Girl,” and “Melrose Place” are among her other series credits.
The listed agent was Casey Winchell of Kennedy Wilson Real Estate Sales & Marketing. The purchase was represented by Allison Gold of Compass.
