The site has gradual slope with a tropical dense forest on one side. The design brief was for three cottage and a pool area to be constructed in phases. The first place involved two cottages. Due to the sloping nature of the site the cottages have been designed on stilts so as to give an illusion that they are floating over the tea plantation. The cottages have been designed with providing views of the stream and surroundings. Large glass areas have been used to provides a space to enjoy the views while winding down in the evening.

If you dont cover the platform using this kind of sheet, water along with cement grout will drain off downwards through the small pores. This can be prevented by doing this simple work so that the quality of the concrete can be assured.
Tip number 2 : കോൺക്രീറ്റിംഗ് കഴിഞ്ഞ ഭാഗങ്ങൾ പടുത ഉപയോഗിച്ച് കവർ ചെയുക.
Advantage / Reason : By doing so we can prevent the evaporation of water molecules from the concrete mixture. If you dont do this, examine the finished concreting areas at evening, you can see lot of cracks on the surface of the concrete. This is due the absence of enough water in the concrete mixture for proper hydration process.
