Located along Marine Drive, its artistic charm, captivating color palette, and elegant simplicity have truly won me over. The use of multi-wood for the interior cabinets, considering its sea-facing location, and the incorporation of high-quality materials to combat the sea breeze, showcase the attention to detail. Beyond the design, my affection extends to the clients themselves, as they generously granted us complete creative freedom. I am genuinely grateful.

The Site The site was formally a series of derelict walled in spaces used for unplanned parking and offered zero social or environmental value to the area or community. The perimeter walls resulted in the student accommodation area being physically and socially disconnected from the university campus, with only a small number of narrow degraded alleyways allowing access. It was these alleyways, crammed with life, people and food sellers that offered a clue to the creative and artistic energy that laid under the surface of the community. The Site The site was formally a series of derelict walled in spaces used for unplanned parking and offered zero social or environmental value to the area or community. The perimeter walls resulted in the student accommodation area being physically and socially disconnected from the university campus, with only a small number of narrow degraded alleyways allowing access. It was these alleyways, crammed with life, people and food sellers that offered a clue to the creative and artistic energy that laid under the surface of the community.
