Hi everyone, I’m currently constructing a home, and I’ve reached the foundation phase. The site I’m working on has a high water content, and it seems to be a water-logged field. I’ve attached a picture for reference. Could anyone suggest the best approach to handle foundation work in these conditions? What techniques or materials would you recommend to ensure the foundation is stable and long-lasting? Any advice or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!"
where in kannur.. better to do RR foundation for these type of sites. Pls contact if any proffessional advice need. we have office at Kannur & payyannur. saafarchitect@gmail.com
Hi, the professional way of doing: first test the soil and then make a structural design based on the soil test report. My advice - take experienced professionals help before proceeding further and don't decide based on online comments/suggestions alone. We have two projects ongoing in similar conditions and one of the clients already regrets digging a well against my design and recommendations.
