After the front elevation was completed and the engineer's design was altered, it appears old. Could someone offer any affordable suggestions to update its appearance without requiring additional changes?

Found this Plan on Pinterest. Just wanted to know. The roof above the sitout is touching the walls which are made of bricks right? During the heavy rainy season the walls are prone to get wet every time in this design I suppose. Will this cause leakage and problems as the walls are made of bricks ?
