I have purchased 8 years old home. want to construct 2nd floor something like left side ( not the final one. Also need to cut current concrete to build stair case). What is best way to build stair case. My last alternative option is to build stair case from our side.

Load bearing structure ൽ RCC band ക ളുടെ role എന്താണെന്ന് നോക്കാം........
RCC frame work ൽ (Columns & beams) അല്ലാതെ നിർമ്മിക്കുന്ന കെട്ടിടങ്ങളിൽ വരാവുന്ന എല്ലാതരം load കളെയും മണ്ണിൻ്റെ Safe bearing capacity ക്ക് അനുയോജ്യമായി നിർമ്മിക്കുന്ന foundation വഴി ഭൂമിയിലേക്ക് ഒരു പോലെ transfer ചെയ്യുമ്പോൾ, RCC horizontal seismic band കൾ എന്നറിയപ്പെടുന്ന ബെൽറ്റും ലിൻറലും (Plinth band and Iintel band) അനേകം ഇഷ്ടികകൾ, കല്ലുകൾ, മറ്റു തരത്തിലുള്ള കോൺക്രീറ്റ് ബ്ലോക്കുകളും ഉപയോഗിച്ചു പണിയുന്ന structure ൻ്റെ integrity ഉറപ്പാക്കിക്കൊണ്ട് ഒരു കവചം പോലെ കെട്ടിടങ്ങളെ ചെറു ഭൂചലനങ്ങൾ മറ്റു പ്രകമ്പനങ്ങൾ ,ചെറിയ തോതിലുള്ള uneqal settlement കളെയും ഒരു പരിധി വരെ പ്രതിരോധിക്കാൻ സഹായിക്കുന്നു .ഭൂകമ്പ സാധ്യത കൂടുതൽ ഉളള മേഖലകളിൽ RCC Band കൾ തമ്മിൽ മൂലകളിലും openings side കളിലും RCC യിൽ തന്നെ vertical member കൂടി connect ചെയ്യുന്ന രീതിയും നിലവിൽ ഉണ്ട്. Nominal re bar detailing മാത്രം ആവശ്യമായി വരുന്ന 4" മുതൽ 6 "കനം വരെ ചെയ്യേണ്ട Belt ,Design അനുസരിച്ച് Plinth Beam കളിൽ കൊടുത്തുവരുന്ന re bars detailing പോലെ രണ്ടടി ഉയരം വരെ ചിലയിടങ്ങളിൽ ചെയ്യുമ്പോൾ Load bearing structure ൽ ആവശ്യം കൊടുക്കേണ്ട RCC Belt, അധിക ചിലവും അനാവശ്യവും എന്നൊക്കെ തോന്നിയേക്കാം. Plinth band യഥാസ്ഥാനമായ Basement നു മുകളിൽ(Plinth level ) തന്നെ വാർക്കുമ്പോൾ concrete ൽ ഗുണനിലവാരമുള്ള water proofing compound കൂടി mix ചെയ്ത് cast ചെയ്ത ശേഷം Bitumen coat കൂടി apply ചെയ്താൽ capillary action വഴി ഉണ്ടാകാവുന്ന നനവിനെ തടയുന്ന Damp proof course ആയും പ്രവർത്തിക്കും.
