My 18yr old house is 1200sqfts. It is in a rectangular shape. The biggest fault in its construction is that it doesn't have a beam. Now it's roof is cracking in the middle. How can I maintain the building. Is giving an iron rail instead of the beam be a solution?Kindly advice.

I am looking forward to buy a flat which is 8 yrs old. I approached a bank for home loan and the same has been approved. The bank loan is 80% of the purchase value. I am being told by the bank that I need to mention 90% of the property value since it is a flat in the sale deed to get it registered in my name. I feel that I am being misguided. Can any one clarify?

sir, my plot of 13.5 cents is Gradually leaning downwards towards east from 0 at the West to 150 cm at the extreme end, it is proposed to construct an rcc framed residential bldg with the east side setback as 300cm and to fill with soil upto the same level of the West side. then can I do the ground floor flooring over 7.5 cm pcc after tamping the filled soil top? my fear is whether there is any chance of settling the soil and cracking the floor or may I do rcc slab same as roof?

As per vastu, NW corner is having a cut bcoz of the design and how can it be rectified. Like E & W same measurement, but S & N having diff msmnts. Considering chuttu, taking 4 sides not good but taking 2 sides its ok.E& W-1230, S-1326, N-954. Nothing can be done above the ground then car can't turn properly, but I need to fix that. Any ideas?

Greetings, have a query regarding the payment to building contractor. I would like to know while we are making payment of instalments to the builder how can we have a proof of copy regarding the installments paid to him. When I suggested for bank transfer he says he have tax problem and when I asked for money receipt then he says he has gst issue. Some of my friends suggested to get signature in the back of agreement with the amount beside. Is their any other solution for this issue. Funding source is bank loan and rest by cash.
