The normal height of a residential building including a slab is provided as 3.1m( it can vary according to the purpose and design). clear height ( excluding slab width) will be 3 m. door frame height is 2.1m. so lintel height is 2.1+.2 (height of the lintel beam)= 2.3 m

In most cases 3m is adopted (till slab). Nowadays for aesthetic purpose people usually prefer hall area as 6m ( slab for hall will the same height as first sloor)
