ofcourse, but you cut and remove the entire trees, you will lost the chillness of that area. the only solution is construct the house with column beam.

Based on my experience , it depends on the way you plan and the how much space you utilize the particular plot.... I would prefer not to cut the trees and go for column beam as others said ...
