Exclusive Pics From Shah Rukh Khan’s 8-Storey Red Chillies Entertainment Office

After months of living under siege, work-from-home culture has become the new normal. This was the driving motivation behind Gauri Khan’s decision to redesign her husband Shah Rukh Khan’s workplace in Mumbai’s Santacruz neighbourhood. Khan set out to create a new 5,000-square-foot lounge area within the headquarters of production company Red Chillies Entertainment, imagining a place that was not only fresh but also suited to the new narrative of workspaces.

A place like this promises to be a huge benefit for a creative centre like Red Chillies Entertainment, generating a soothing atmosphere for employees. It has also been constructed with the actor and his creative director in mind, while also functioning as a safe zone for others working on different floors of the office complex.

Take a tour of this stunning SRK Red Chillies Entertainment office space designed by none other than her wife and popular interior designer Gauri Khan.

Gauri planned the lounge room of red chillies entertainment office to be light and airy. One area features a number of workstations, while the other is a lovely library with hints of leather, velvet, brass, and wood, as well as a sophisticated work table. With a rug, coffee table, chess set, leather sofa, and an eye-catching mural, the major artery of this area has a very lounge-like atmosphere. The choice of pale walls in contrast to dark fabric was planned, so the space seems light yet the furniture remains fresh for an extended length of time.

Using Old Trophies

On the walls of red chillies entertainment office are framed posters from Shah Rukh’s old films, all of his accolades, his book collection on cinema, and different devices that he has utilised in his flicks. His old favourite movies on LD and DVD are included in this collection. The trophies and memories of Shah Rukh’s IPL cricket team, the Kolkata Knight Riders, are on exhibit, as is the Trinbago Knight Riders trophy from the Caribbean Premier League.

A workstation, like a house or a lounge, must be both pleasant and useful. This key premise remains unchanged. Gauri believes that the end user is really crucial. It’s critical to understand the individuals who live in a space and how they plan to spend their days.

A brown couch from Ralph Lauren Home balances aesthetic and practicality in the area, as does an antique light passed down from Gauri’s mother. Gauri Khan Designs created the carpet, console, coffee table, and side table in-house. Then there are a few ultra-luxurious items that serve as a sort of pièce de résistance, such as the Fendi sofa and a chair by Timothy Oulton.

Traditional Touch

The traditional red chillies entertainment workplace has been reimagined as a fresh, relaxed, friendly, and welcoming space for numerous teams to gather or take a break from work. People can unwind by putting their feet up, playing chess, watching television, having an evening drink, or grabbing a coffee.

They might celebrate the premiere of a new programme or trailer here or simply hang around with their coworkers. This was a perfect opportunity to develop a secure and open environment for work and play. This is intended to be a transformational space, capable of hosting a narrative, a budget meeting, or a photo shoot.
