Matthew Ryan Phillippe, born on September 10, 1974, celebrated his 48th birthday today!!
He rose to prominence in the late 1990s with starring roles in films such as I Know What You Did Last Summer, Cruel Intentions, and 54, after appearing as Billy Douglas on the soap opera One Life to Live. He appeared in several films during the 2000s, including Gosford Park (2001), Crash (2004), Flags of Our Fathers (2006), Breach (2007), Stop-Loss (2008), MacGruber (2010), and The Lincoln Lawyer (2011). Phillippe first appeared as photographer Greg Marinovich in The Bang Bang Club in 2010, and then as Bob Lee Swagger in the USA Network thriller drama Shooter (2016–2018).
Ryan Phillippe, a Hollywood actor, had sold his modern Asian-inspired bachelor house for $7,450,000. The 48-year-old actor paid $7.1 million for the 7,400-square-foot pad years ago. The Estate is a contemporary masterpiece with five bedrooms, six full bathrooms, one powder room, and enormous living spaces, featuring an incredible big Master Suite with views of the city lights!
The wide glass doors and windows that open out to the entertainer’s dream backyard replete with covered canopy sections, stunning In-ground Swimming Pool, fountains, and Firepit provide an incredible flow of indoor and outdoor living. The bespoke Home Theatre includes not just a high-definition panel television, but also an electric projection screen that pops down to give you the feeling of being in a movie theatre! Everything about this business is excellent quality and well constructed; just look at the Gourmet Chef’s Kitchen. This won’t last long!
The house has a 60-foot pool and stunning city views. Ryan initially listed the pad, which he once shared with his ex-girlfriend Abbie Cornish, for $7.45 million in 2010, but there was little interest. Ryan was unwilling to budge on the price at the time. In fact, it appeared that he was hoping to make a profit on the luxury home, even during these difficult economic times.
The luxury-obsessed star was also drawn to its lovely outdoor areas, which are dotted with water features. In addition to the five bedrooms, the house has a media room where Ryan could watch movies alone.
Of course, the movie star made certain that the property included a home theatre with a drop-down movie screen, an essential feature for any celebrity who wants to relive their former glory in the privacy of their own home. The screening room must also have allowed him to see his previous work in films such as The I Inside, Little Boy Blue, Anti-Trust, and Company Man.
Ryan has to stay in shape as a hunky star, and he undoubtedly made extensive use of the house’s swimming pool, spa, and sauna. Of course, he enjoys having fun, so he used to hang out in the area’s outdoor kitchen and fire pit area.
The Crash star’s home has an expansive master suite on its own level with two baths and a fantastic gym, so he is never forced to interact with his house staff. In addition to the main living area, there is a suite off the entryway that can be used for guest quarters, staff, or offices. Standing on more than half an acre, it allows Ryan to provide ample gated parking for his celebrity pals.
