Donnie Wahlberg and Jenny McCarthy are two of television’s most colourful characters. On Blue Bloods, Donnie portrays the strong but endearing Danny Reagan, while Jenny McCarthy is a judge on the bizarre Fox reality show The Masked Singer. Their house, it turns out, is just as vivid and flamboyant as their on-screen identities.
For starters, the Chicago home features its own pool with a water slide, waterfall, and grotto; a one-hole golf course; and a private nature trail in the rear.
“We have a little trail we made particularly for walks—it includes a tiny Buddha and a fountain—and I know it means a lot to Jenny,” Donnie explained to People. “We’ve just created a small slice of heaven.”

The Blue Bloods actor maintains their home is “not lavish,” but one look inside confirms it has the wow factor. Jenny offered People a tour of their house in 2019, which they had been refurbishing for several years. They also give followers a sneak glimpse into their house on their social media profiles on a regular basis.
The other places are also notable, and each appears to blend both the outrageous parts of their occupations as well as the laid-back dispositions they share at home with their four dogs.
The baby grand piano, for example, is more than simply a showpiece in their living room. They bought it so the New Kids on the Block member could play and his wife could listen. In another part of the area, there are two leather doors with custom-made “J” and “D” handles, but they do not lead to an ultra-luxe side chamber.

Gratitude is a theme that runs throughout the five-bedroom Tudor he and Jenny McCarthy, 46, have lived in and progressively refurbished over the previous four years near St. Charles, Ill. “It was the first place we looked at jointly,” Wahlberg, 50, explains. “When we walked in, I saw Jenny McCarthy’s face and thought, ‘I have to have this house.’ I just have to since this is my home.'” McCarthy, who grew up on Chicago’s South Side, had an instant connection: “It reverberated like home.” “Even though the decor wasn’t us, I sensed an aura telling us we were at the right place.”
Wahlberg, who frequently spends summers touring with his New Kids on the Block bandmates and is currently starring in the 10th season of Blue Bloods, credits the perks of working on a long-running series with allowing him to live a dual-city existence.
“The show’s popularity forced me to be out of town a lot, but it also allowed me to go to the producers and say, ‘Listen, it’s been 10 years and I’ve got to watch my kids graduate, go to homecoming, and do the things I’m going to miss if I keep working five days a week in another city.”
