Boxing legend Floyd Mayweather has booked his next exhibition match after knocking out MMA fighter Mikuru Asakura and will face YouTube star Deji on November 13 in Dubai.
Floyd Mayweather has homes in Beverly Hills, Las Vegas, and now Miami Beach. With a roughly 11,000-square-foot floor plan and a 5,000-square-foot rooftop terrace with views of the ocean and city skyline, the three-story modern house enables indoor-outdoor living. Decks go along the upper two stories, overlooking a patio with a pool, jacuzzi, and a private dock large enough to accommodate a 100-foot yacht.
The purchase adds to Floyd Mayweather’s collection of opulent residences, which includes a $25 million property in Beverly Hills with a theatre for 20 guests and a $10 million stunner in Las Vegas with a whole wall of wine. We wouldn’t expect anything less from the highest-paid athlete in the previous decade.
The 5,000-square-foot villa, completed in 2011, is hidden away in a particularly lush section of Palm Island and has 10,853 square feet of indoor living space, however, the roof deck adds 5,000 square feet to the total. The symmetrical façade is highlighted by a complicated entryway, which includes a double staircase, upper and lower double doors, tropical planting, and a pergola perched above.
A strikingly white doorway on Palm Island is flanked by white, Grecian-style stone plinths and enters onto an ultra-modern interior. The sleek, spacious home, lined with hardwood, has nine bedrooms and 10.5 bathrooms, and is designed for fluid indoor and outdoor living: decks encircle the top two stories, and the mansion’s centrepiece is a 5,000-square-foot rooftop terrace overlooking the lake and the Miami cityscape.
Interior elements include glossy marble tile floors, a beige colour scheme, tray ceilings, and wood-framed doors and windows; the rule of thumb is an indoor/outdoor lifestyle, with optional glass walls extending to the outside living areas. A soaring staircase and elevator lead up to an owner’s suite with oak floors and a spa bathroom. The top levels are accessible via stairs or elevator, with the owner’s apartment featuring hardwood flooring, neutral hues, and a massive bathroom with a Jacuzzi bath overlooking the harbour.
There are also a movie theatre, gym, and games area, as well as a private dock that can accommodate a 100-foot yacht. You may go between rooms and levels using either the sweeping staircase in the centre of the home or if there has been a large brawl, the elevator. Plank hardwood flooring and balcony access are included in several of the nine bedrooms. A pool, a grill with a bar, and a pier are among the outdoor attractions.
