Dakota Johnson’s home was designed by architect Carl Maston and is full of beauty and character. The treehouse is hidden in a peaceful cul-de-sac in Los Angeles and surrounded by a variety of lush green trees, according to Architectural Digest. When entering the living room, the emphasis is on comfort and attractiveness. There’s a crushed mohair sofa, a glass coffee table with a bamboo base, and an antique Wurlitzer piano. Beautiful potted plants, a huge rug, and framed artwork cover the walls as well. Dakota Johnson spends most of his time in this room with friends and family, reclining on the couch or listening to records.

A series of cupboards on one side of the living room houses Dakota Johnson’s incredible record collection, which she keeps in rotation. A record player sits on top of the table, along with several framed portraits resting against the wall and a retro-looking light. It’s also enjoyable to track down albums you’ve been looking for and gradually add to your collection. Begin by making a list of your all-time favourite records, and then visit local record stores. If your favourite songs are more recent, they should be readily available.

Dakota Johnson’s unique home office serves as a space for meetings, script reading, and creative thinking. The actress constructed the bookcase into the wall herself and now displays a variety of art and books on it. Books gifted to her by musician Patti Smith, pictures, a wax mushroom, and a framed Chanel portrait are all on one shelf. Working in this room might easily lead to distraction.

There’s a wood desk, an armchair, a guitar, and a lot of framed images with personal meaning. One photo is of Hunter S. Thompson, a friend of Johnson’s father’s, and another is of females in a South African marching band. There’s also a picture of Johnson’s grandma holding one of her tigers.

The light-filled dining room feels open and airy, thanks in part to the glass dining table. Johnson desired a glass table to allow the carpeting and outdoor light to take centre stage. The unusual seats, light fixtures, and white drapes further add to the decor.
