American rapper and songwriter Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, known professionally as Cardi B turned 30 years old today.
Cardi B and her husband Offset reside in a gigantic 22,000-square-foot property that redefines the term “opulence.” Unfortunately, the magnificent residence was recently destroyed by Hurricane Ida, thus it is not flood-proof.
Cardi B’s house quest eventually came to a conclusion towards the end of 2019 when she and Offset found what she has often referred to as their “Dream Home.”
Cardi, visibly overjoyed, revealed their discovery on Instagram with followers on her second-ever visit to the mega-mansion in Atlanta’s wealthy Buckhead district.
The mansion covers six acres and has a four-car garage, four bedrooms, seven bathrooms, four half-baths, and a wine cellar. View the complete tour below.
The estate was created with solitude in mind, as seen by the presence of trees and European-style hedges. Despite the fact that it was completed in 2006, the huge doors, open layout of each room, and tall columns with intricate decorations transport you to another era and stand in sharp contrast to the slick, modern abodes of her fellow recording artists.
The house also includes a garage with a capacity of four automobiles but appears to have room for more. It’s easy to understand why this three-story mansion caught Cardi B. and Offset’s attention following their long search for the right home.
Offset and Cardi B live in Sandy Springs, Georgia, just north of Buckhead, in a lavish home they purchased as a Christmas present for themselves in 2019. While we don’t know how much the couple paid for the large home, we do know it was advertised for sale for a stunning $5.79 million — despite the fact that its European-inspired architecture, sumptuous furnishings, and an unending list of facilities make it appear to be three times that amount.
As you enter beyond the magnificent entryway, you are welcomed by a foyer with a wide-open corridor leading into the 22,500-square-foot residence. The huge chandelier and a sophisticated winding staircase effectively balance the sensations between a warm and friendly house and a royal palace.
The lavish residence, unsurprisingly, has various living areas. An open-concept living area with full-length Juliet balconies overlooks the tranquil garden and appears to be constructed as a set for one of Cardi’s extravagant music videos.
What’s even more striking about this area is that it effortlessly links to another living room on the opposite side of the room, which provides a more intimate atmosphere with lower arched ceilings.
While the kitchen features beautifully stained oak cabinetry and sparkling marble counters, the dining space, despite its modest size, has a surprisingly warm and inviting vibe. Cardi B’s expansive kitchen features cream marble countertops and textured oak cabinetry. A wide window on one side provides views of the lush foliage beyond, and a kitchen island in the centre is near a panelled white door with frosted glass that leads to her magnificent pantry.
The remainder of the home is equally opulent. The master bedroom, with vaulted ceilings, resembles a 7-star resort suite, complete with a separate lounge area with its own fireplace and a spa-like en-suite master bathroom.
There are two distinct walk-in closets that link by a connecting tunnel and are tall enough that a ladder is required to access the uppermost shelf.
The pool in Cardi B’s Atlanta house is one of her favourite places to relax, surrounded by beautiful green lawns and carefully kept hedges. This outdoor area contains three marble dolphin sculptures that appear to be preparing to leap into the pool for a brief dip. The resting area is completed with green and beige loungers.
