Aditya Roy Kapur lives in Mumbai in a classic ‘bachelor pad,’ replete with a pool table, and a man cave, with a view of the city and the sea. Aditya discussed his home in a video released on YouTube by architect Ashiesh Shah.

About Aditya Roy Kapur’s Flat

Fox Life India published a glimpse of Aditya Roy Kapur’s bachelor pad from their design programme that aired in 2018 on social media. Aditya Kapur renovated a luxurious four-bedroom house last year. His 4000 square foot flat has been renovated into a two-bedroom apartment with a large hall. The interiors of Aditya’s residence are modest and orderly, yet eccentric. The cool house provides wonderful coastal views.

The man cave has a sprawling bar and a home theatre with a red seating area and a lounging space. He told GQ, “I fell in love with the couch, not because of the colour, because of its shape.” On the Design HQ episode, Aditya was asked about his unusually huge king-size bed in the bedroom, and when asked about it by host Ashiesh Shah, he answered, “I am 6 foot 2.” It’s 3 feet long for a cushion, therefore it’s cut-to-order.”

Many of Aditya’s friends tried to ‘dissuade’ him from placing a pool table in his house, predicting that he’d become bored with it in three months and that it would take up a lot of room, but he stated he had a personal connection to the game and truly wanted a table in his house. He joked that if he had a girlfriend or wife living with him, he’d transform the table into a diaper-changing station.

Aditya was enthused about his crimson couch in his man cave as well. The ‘den’ area has a lounge area, where he spends time watching TV, reading, or dining. There is also a bar in the man cave. He stated that he did not want the bar in the living room because it would resemble “one arcade of like debauchery.”
