Acrylic Fiber Mesh Waterproofing 4 Layers
(Entire open roof and 300mm higher on the parapet
walls on all sides and at building joints. Steps: 1. Surface
Preparation: repairs, chipping, brushing, washing. 2.
Priming Coat: Brush application of cement slurry
prepared with cement and acrylic waterproofing
compound 1:1 mixture on dampened surface. Brushing
must be done in one direction only. 3. Second coat with
2.5x2.5mm Fiber Mesh: 2:1 cement:wp compound slurry
1 applied over mesh while priming coat is still green.
Brushing to be done perpendicular to priming coat. 4.
Cover coat: 2:1 slurry brush applied in the direction of
Priming Coat. 4. Final polish coat: 1:1 slurry brush
applied in the direction of Second coat. *Acrylic
Waterproofing compounds used is MYK tufcrete or
equivalent. ** Tap water dilution of slurry for brushable
consistency can be done subject to weather and surface
