ഏതാനും ദിവസങ്ങളായി വീട് നിർമ്മാണം ചർച്ച ചെയ്യുന്ന സാമൂഹ്യ കൂട്ടായ്മകളിലെ പ്രവണതയാണ് ചെറുപ്പത്തിൽ തന്നെ വീടുവച്ചവരുടെ കഥകൾ.
തീർച്ചയായും നല്ലൊരു പ്രവണത തന്നെ ആണിത്.
എന്നാൽ ഇതിൽ മറഞ്ഞു കിടക്കുന്ന ആരും കാണാത്ത വേറൊരു പ്രശ്നം ഉണ്ട്.
അതായത് ഒരാൾ തന്റെ ഇരുപതുകളുടെ രണ്ടാം പകുതിയിൽ നിർമ്മിച്ച ഒരു വീട് എത്ര കാലം നിലനിൽക്കും എന്നതാണ് ഇതിലെ വിഷയം.

ഈ സമയത്ത്‌ ആ വ്യക്തിക്ക് സ്വന്തമായ വരുമാനമോ, മറ്റൊരു വീട് നിർമ്മിക്കാനുള്ള ആരോഗ്യമോ ഉണ്ടാവണം എന്നില്ല.
