ഇത് കോട്ടയം ജില്ലയിലെ ഒരു വീടിന്റെ നിർമാണത്തിലെ ഞെട്ടിക്കുന്ന അപാകതകൾ ആണ് ഇവിടെ വിവരിക്കുന്നത്. അതിനു നിർദ്ദേശിച്ച തിരുത്തലുകളും വ്യക്തമാക്കാം. വീടിന്റെ അപാകതകൾ പലതായിരുന്നു. ഒന്നാമതായി രണ്ടാം നിലയിലെ മൂന്നു ചുമരുകൾ ഒന്നാം നിലയിലെ സ്ളാബിൽ ആണ് പണിതു വച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്! അത് partition walls അല്ല എന്നുകൂടെ വ്യക്തമാക്കട്ടെ. പ്രസ്തുത ചുമരുകളുടെ മുകളിൽ രണ്ടാം നിലlaയുടെ സ്ളാബ് (roof slab) കൂടെ പണിതു വച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്!! റൂഫ് സ്ളാബിന്റെയും ചുമരിന്റെയും ഭാരം വഹിക്കുന്നത് ബീമോ ചുമരോ അല്ല, സ്ളാബ് ആണ്. "Factor of Safety ദൈവങ്ങളുടെ" കാരുണ്യമോ മറ്റോ കൊണ്ട് നിലവിൽ ഇടിഞ്ഞു വീണിട്ടില്ല. പക്ഷേ റൂഫ് സ്ളാബിൽ ചോർച്ചയും താഴത്തെ സ്ളാബിൽ തൂക്കവും (sagging) കണ്ടു. എന്തെങ്കിലും കൂടുതൽ ഭാരമോ കുലുക്കമോ ഒക്കെ ഉണ്ടായാൽ ഇടിഞ്ഞു വീഴാനുള്ള സാധ്യത വളരെ കൂടുതലാണ്.
സ്ലാബിൽ നിന്ന് ചുമർ കെട്ടിപ്പൊക്കിയ സ്ഥലത്തു സ്റ്റീൽ ഗിർഡർ സപ്പോർട് കൊടുത്തു. ഈ ഗിർഡർ (സെക്കണ്ടറി ഗിർഡർ ) സപ്പോർട് ചെയ്യാൻ ഒരു പ്രൈമറി ഗിർഡർ കൊടുത്തു. ഇതിലെ പ്രൈമറി ഗിർഡർ സ്ളാബിൽ തൊടാത്ത രീതിയിലാണ് കയറ്റി വച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്. #HouseRenovation #rehabilitation
