Aum Namah Shivaya.
Incorporating opulence and inspired by its perennial grandeur, an awe-evoking brilliance of Lord Shiva springs up in a remote town in Kerala.
Satva Scapes, presents “OMKARANATHAN”, a 15 feet tall crown and torso statue of Lord Shiva at Perumkulam, the book village of Kerala aka Pusthakagramam.
Installed in the vicinity of the footprints of Kozhikottappan, who is believed to have appeared before Velu Thampi, this structure boasts of a naturally landscaped flowing water stream, and is resplendent with over a thousand Om Karam inscriptions on its hair locks, reverently scripted by devotees young and old, ensuring public participation. Enhanced audio systems electrify the ambiance with OM chanting, making it a perfect place for meditation. The statue depicting the supreme yogic state of the deity, with half-opened eyes, was formally dedicated to the public on 15th of April, 2023 at Perumkulam Kozhikode Kaavu Kshetram premises.
Satva Scapes intends to showcase Perumkulam as an international tourist attraction spot with this project. This location shares proximity with the famous Jatayu Hills, Chadayamangalam, which is 24kms away.
Satya Scapes, the landscaping subsidiary of SATVA Design, designed and installed this statue with remarkable teamwork of its concept design and theme head Prakash Varma, and its artist shilpi Pradeep Achari.
