The cost of a modular kitchen can vary a lot There are two types: Fully modular and semi modular In modular kitchen the full carcass and shutter is made in a factory and sent on site for installation after which the stone ( mostly granite ) is installed. In semi modular kitchen the stone is put before the kitchen and there for full carcass is not required to take weight. In this module most of the times there will be no back and base and top. Two vertices will be joined by horizontal strip of plywood instead of a full piece. The construction method of the carcass in semi modular kitchen also varies and can affect the actual cost. 2.
