for a 1000 sq feet home, if you fix steel tube for all windows you will need approx 26 k to 30 k money. steel guage 16. hope this will help get some idea.
better go with steel considering iron painting maintenance cost etc

wood windows will give another level of beauti and look compared to steel. getting quality wood but is a heavy task. quality steel windows also good.. but wood is wood. for 1000 sq feet home if you go with base quality wood it woulbe around 150000/-.including all cost labour wood fittings etc approx. for steel also cost will be almost but a little higher
