A modern house designed and built in Ramnagar, Banglore. this elegant and contemporary house is a bold statement in the outskirts of Bangalore. When the client, who is also my friend approached me with the requirements the structure was already started. i redesigned the entire house solving all the issues and added a new look to it with the same existing structure. it was a difficult journey but the end result was satisfying. NEST is a small residence located at Vazhakulam in the outskirts of Muvattupuzha town. The site is located near a rubber plantation within a small residential neighborhood. Nest is a residence for a family of four, two parents and their two kids. Both Ajith and Dhanya are govt’ servants. One of the main requirements that the clients put forward was to design a home where there they can unwind after a day at the office and it should have an ample supply of natural light and ventilation.

KARTHIKA Location : Thrissur Built Area : 1250 sqft Year of Completion : 2022 . . . Nestled amidst lush green canopies ,’KARTHIKA’ is a minimal tropical home for a family of 6. The concept evolved around the idea of creating spacious volumes filled with natural light and weaving in with its natural site context. A north facade with broad openings and a spacious sitout act as a major transitional zone connecting interiors and exteriors. Living with a wide clerestory window brightens up the large volume and creates a lively atmosphere. The central indoor courtyard with inbuilt seating space brings in an element of nature to the home. The slit skylight above the courtyard feeds the greenery with ample sunlight. Connected to living, the open dining and pooja areas are conceived as more warm and earthy spaces which define the overall volume. The emphasis of the dining area; the classic box bay window enhances the beauty of the dining space by allowing plenty of light into the room
