The Thanikachalam house designed by Benny Kuriakose & Associates invokes the comfort and elegance that tones down the grandeur of its size. This is the view of the guest house adorned with sloping tiled roof and arched brick lintels that crown the recycled doors and windows . The house is surrounded by verandahs and gardens, offering for unhindered views of the grounds from every area. The combination of spacious verandahs and exposed brickwork in a residence surrounded by lush landscaping evokes a sense of calm. This residence is also a celebration of conventional building methods and materials displayed in a modern setting.
