Is it safe start a gym in 1 or 2nd floor? does it effects or damage the floors because of heavy usage of weights in floor? what are the precautions to take.. suggestions please

in 1st and 2nd floor no problem to use for gym . Different type rubber mats are available to use in floor for gym . and Normaly no load design is required for gym weight lifting machines . .
