ഞാൻ ഒരു വീട് പണിയുന്നുണ്ട്.. പ്ലാസ്റ്ററിങ് കഴിഞ്ഞ് നിൽക്കുവാണ്.
ഞാൻ വീടിനു roof top നമ്മുടെ പഴയ "മേച്ചിൽ ഓട്" ആണ്. അത് വൃത്തിയായി ക്ലീൻ ചെയ്ത് പെയിന്റിംഗ് കഴിഞ്ഞു.
ഞാൻ പ്ലാൻ ചെയ്തത് - ആംഗിൾ ഇൽ മേച്ചിൽ ഓടും, അതിനു അടിയിൽ ആയി "പൂ ഓട്" ഉം സെറ്റ് ചെയ്യാനായിരുന്നു.
ഇത് ചെയ്ത വേറൊരു വീട്ടിൽ ചെന്ന് നോക്കിയപ്പോൾ കണ്ടത്, ആ പൂ ഓടിനും, കമ്പിക്കും ഇടയിൽ Wrong ഗ്യാപ് ഉണ്ട്. അതിൽ കുറച്ചു കാലങ്ങൾ കഴിയുമ്പോൾ മാറാലയും, വേറേം കുറേ പാറ്റ പോലുള്ള സാധനങ്ങൾ പറ്റിപ്പിടിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
ആ ഗ്യാപ് കവർ ചെയ്യാനുള്ള permanant solution വല്ലതും ഉണ്ടോ?
ഇങ്ങനെ ചെയ്യുമ്പോ കുറച്ചു കാലങ്ങൾ കഴിയുമ്പോ വെള്ളം ഓടിന് ഇടയിലൂടെ ലീക്ക് വരും എന്നും പറയുന്നു. ശെരിയാണോ??
ഇനി അടുത്ത ഓപ്ഷൻ : കോൺക്രീറ്റ് ചെയ്ത് അതിനുമുകളിൽ മേച്ചിൽ ഓട് മാത്രം പതിച്ചു വച്ചാലോ എന്നും ആലോചിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്..
