I want to build a house with 4-5 bedrooms in a plot which is 6 cents.
1. BedRooms with attached toilets - 4
2. Lengthy outer verandah.
3. Double height sitting and dining.
4. Open kitchen.
5. Walls only for bedrooms.
6. Spacious Bedrooms with good ceiling height.
7. Big windows with room to sleep/sit.
8. Liberal use of indoor and outdoor plants with automated watering system.
9. A mix of traditional/modern/contemporary architectural style. Prefer earthen architecture sans the dullness associated with it.
10. Plenty of wind and sunlight as possible.
11. Natural materials preferred.
12. Big doors opening through the hall/kitchen sideways like a courtyard/backyard.
13. Balconies for bedrooms.
14. Integrated wardrobes in all rooms with dressing area if possible.
15. Use the complete plot area on all sides of the house to make the house look spacious blurring the house and plot boundaries.
16. Gardens adjacent to the boundary walls.
17. Parking space can be separate.
18. Monsoon proof roofing, maybe low roof or extended roof.
19. If going for traditional style, then safety of the occupants should be a priority.
20. Simple but not dull. Mix of modernity too w.r.t facilities.
