generally the thumb rule while doing the floors , it should look beautiful to look at and should have shine to reflect light and should have some grain , texture ,or pattern because earth is not single colour anywhere so neither can be its interiors as well , .......and keep the floor in very light colour that will help in making the room look big and large . tiles i think are cheap ,options, easy to install , less headache , and less recurring cost in long run .hope u got your answer and your dilema is solved.

marble is good but those kind things are out dated and old , secondly assuming its will cost you 120/150 psqft , now add transportaion + cutting + laying+ polishing first time , again polishing after two years or so and again if it develops crack or something u will again have to look for the same colour but you will never get it because rest of the earlier piece will age and the new one will stand out or again the headache of matching the colour of the floor colour as one single design .

coming to granite far more harder than marble , but then again granite has 16/25 diffrent colours and no two slabs are same colour variation is and will always be there , granite is genrally used in high traffic areas like airports and metro stations etc .secondly u will need to polish it time to time and again that needs to be done again a recurring cost and headache and agin if it cracks u will again be in mess because same logic two granite pieces will never be same u want to see it go to some high traffic area were granite is installed see it with your own eyes .and again orginal and real and natural granite doesnt come in white colour the day they find pure white granite marble rates will crash as dust

nano marble is useless for floors , never ever use man made products which u expect should be worth your hard earned money and should last minimum 10/ 15 years + .nano will never last because its man made it will definately crack sooner than later.

it should not cost u more than 50/60/65/70 per sqft look for 2x 4 size , you will get bigger sizes also ,but bigger the size more chance of developing the cracks .

in case you are planning to or looking for white colour for floor , look for satvario its the copy of orginal satvario italian marble with black line , look for white tiles with slim lines they are the actual copy of satvario .

secondly u will find lots of tiles with italian finish colour and grade tiles , look for the ones which are bright and the pattern is very clear .

tiles will be way way cheaper go to nangal raya village tile market its near pitampura metro station , there u will find 100 odd shops selling tiles all possible sizes ,colours and designs its one of the only market of its kind in delhi .
