hi We are putting bamboo ply as the cealing under aluminum sheet. We are concerned about the heat and sound issue. Is there any product that can be used like a sandwich in between. Someone suggested to use thermocol, Is that a viable option ? Please advise.

You can go for Thermal silver insulators . which will prevent heat and sound . More life than those thermocols...
