oh. sorry. . bathroom floor should be equal to floor. a little below (max 2 inches) is better for water flow. On top floor, you can have bathroom with lower ceiling if you want a small swimming pool.

anything above ground is equally good. Every floor and most rooms should have a bathroom. However, bathroom is one of the costlier items so having 2 Doors opening in 2 rooms type common bathroom is a good idea money wise, space wise and maintenance wise. Will save you around 1 lakh in the complete house
