*better to do water line check before fixing tile*

After the connection is done , put on the pump and check, if the joints are getting wet externally (even little - it will innitially get wet very little-followed by dripping from the same joint in future) than the connection should be made re do. The plumber might give excuse that it will be fine or its old pipe etc, plz dont agree on it. A properly connected joints will never get wet .

*choose a better plumber*

You should select a skilled pdumber , use quality piipes and plumbing materials . An experienced engineer or supervisor will guide you . Leak test is a critical work . If we use standard quality materials and good workmanship is followed , don't look back .
