sir, practically two technics are in use one is sheet membrane installation example APP Membrane it is actually made from bitumen (hardening process with pu) 3 mm or 4 mm thickness leading companies in India is sika, fosroc and Dr.fixit etc..we recommend app sheets only on well leveled surface means on plastered or on pre moulded concrete bridge decks..on the other hand there are 5 five types of liquid chemicals are available in markets for waterproofing both solvents based and water-based water-based are easy to apply and non VOC, they are 1(acrylic 100% waterproof not recommend on plastered surface,2) bitumen liquid( not sure about the waterproof property and recommend only on negative areas,3) epoxy 100% waterproof need a screed coat above epoxy , we recommend every where we need especially on terrace wheather it is plastered on not,4) polyurethane 100 % waterproof we recommend every where we need especially on terrace but must 1.2 to 1.5 mm thickness for 10 years guarantee, 5) polyurea 100% waterproof both machine spray application and cold cure brush applications is available we recommend only on terrace of Minimum are 10000 square feet , and one another option is also available acrylic and polyurethane water-based hybrid chemicals are available now in market examples myk, sika cool coat, Dr.fixit roof seal, classic, Britax etc..we are applicators for all the above chemicals..if u can please contact me..
