Top 5 Fall Home Decor Trends

Refresh your home this season with these Pinterest-approved fall home décor trends. So, what’s hot this Fall of 2022? Aside from a neutral fall palette and a minimalist approach, we discovered a few throwback styles on Pinterest, the interior enthusiast’s inspiration app. So, if your home could use a facelift this PSL season, here are a few fall home décor trends to consider.

1. Boho Chic Still Reigns

According to Pinterest, boho chic is still one of the top fall home décor trends, and we’re not surprised. Apart from having a free-spirited vibe, the Boho Chic style creates a peaceful and relaxing ambience, which is ideal during this pandemic. Of course, a Boho Chic home would be incomplete without rattan chairs, an earthy palette, and layers of cosy pillows and blankets. However, we did notice the addition of crystals in the space. It is thought to make the space more harmonious. If you like this look, try Himalayan rock salt or geode lamps.

2. Cheery School Colours

Remember your dorm room in high school or college? Those cheery pinks, vibrant yellows, and baby blues? Yes, they’re all returning for the fall season. According to Pinterest, it’s one of the fall home décor trends! We’ve always liked them and would love to see those pretty colours again this year.

3. Pop, Pop, Pop of Colours

It may be evident by now, but fall 2022 is all about colours. According to Pinterest, one of the fall home décor trends is to add pops of colour in a neutral room, such as a bold-coloured rug, vibrant pillows with simple patterns, hanging frames of artwork, a vase of fresh blooms, or perhaps repainting a wall.

4. Y2K Décor

Y2K fashion was labelled as a fashion crime by Gen Z or possibly an even younger generation, and we understand why. We have to admit that we sort of regret wearing a dress over leggings or pants and accessorising with a huge belt as if we were going to a wrestling match. To top it all off, our hair was styled with numerous clips, but don’t we all look fresh and young back then? Because of its fresh and youthful vibe, it’s no surprise that Y2K décor is one of Pinterest’s fall home décor trends. Consider string lights strung across the bed, woven baskets filled with blankets and pillows, layers of cosy rug, and a soft, natural colour palette.

5. Zest Up With Peachy Keen

Have you ever come across a peachy keen palette? It’s pink and peach in colour, just like your high school or college dorm room in the 2000s. Peachy walls, pillows and blankets, and, most notably, fun prints in the bathroom are starting to appear on our feed. Peach room decor is perfect for creating a warm and inviting space. And while it can be used in any room, it’s especially well-suited for the bedroom or living room. You add a few peach-themed accents or go all out with peach walls and furniture, there are endless ways to incorporate this cheerful hue into your home.
